SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
As part of AE Plastics' BEE and social development policy, we are pleased to offer schools in historically disadvantaged communities a free signage package which includes door signs, directional and informational signs, as well as a building sign displaying their name and emblem.
This initiative supplies schools from disadvantaged communities with needed signage, as well as being part of the development and training of HDI groups within our organisation. This program is used to help train people in computer skills, administration, and customer service.
Through training, the full process is handled by people from HDI groups. They are guided through the steps of identifying schools and their requirements, typesetting and layouts, material ordering, stock control, as well as the actual manufacture. This process will help to develop and equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to play a more active roll within the industry.
